Emoli Petroschka Architects is an architectural design led practice with a strong contemporary approach to architecture which combines careful analysis and research with the application of innovative construction technologies. We have experience of many building types both existing and new, including residential, commercial, cultural, art galleries, health and education as well as masterplanning and interior design, for both public and private sectors. Jan-Marc Petroschka Dipl Ing Arch, ARB - Director

Jan-Marc Petroschka was born in Hamburg, Germany. He studied and graduated at the Technische Universitaet, Berlin and La Sapienza, Rome. He has worked for Shepheard Epstein Hunter and John McAslan + Partners before setting up MacDonald Egan’s in house design studio. Jan-Marc’s main focus has been on private and affordable housing, mixed use developments and urban regeneration projects. Over the past few years Jan-Marc has collaborated with / lectured at the RCA, Goldsmith Collage and the Technische Universitaet Cottbus and Leibniz Universitaet Hanover.

 

 

Umberto Emoli Dott Arch, RIBA - Director

Umberto Emoli was born in Torino, Italy. He studied and graduated at the University of Architecture of Genova, Italy. He has worked as an associate at Alan Colquhoun and John Miller & Partners and John McAslan + Partners on award winning art galleries, museums and educational buildings funded by the Arts Council of England, English Heritage and the Heritage Lottery Fund such as The Tate Britain, London, The De la Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea , The Serpentine Gallery, London , The Whitechapel Art Gallery, London ,The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge ,The Charles Rennie Macintosh House at Derngate, Northampton ,The Royal College of Art, London ,The Royal Academy of Music, London ,The School of Oriental and African Studies, London ,The Faculty of Law, Manchester Metropolitan University ,The Scott Polar Institute, Cambridge , The Elisabeth Fry Building, University of East Anglia and The Queen’s Building, University of East Anglia.
